When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
While most people will tell you they believe the Word of God is true, the vast majority of those who believe have also had that same word stolen from their hearts by the wicked one.
It is not the word of God that you believe; it is the Word of God that you keep and obey that operates in your life.

Before most can even understand God’s Word, the enemy intercepts it because He knows that once that word has taken root in your heart, it will then be yours and produce fruit unto perfection.

When the word of God is spoken, it horrifies the enemy, and the army of evil sets out to steal it wherever it goes because it is the only weapon they recognize as effective against them. Such demons are witty and filled with schemes to cause the human race to write off God’s word as optional, outdated, and confusing. However, for Christians, the kingdom of darkness is more subtle.
They will use the Christian’s negligence against them.
• Unforgiveness
• Worldliness
• Sin
• and many others.
The only way to avoid the wayside is to have such a prayer life that the Holy Spirit can guide you into truth and empower you to be obedient in your life choices.
